外に物差しを置いた比較の言葉は使わないようにする
　ということを心がけています。

　たとえ世間相場の平均が70点で、部下の実力が20点だったとしても「20点“しか”取れていない」という言葉を使って感情的にならず、「20点である」という言葉を使って、事実をフラットに受け止めるようにしています。そして、翌日21点という変化が起きたら、「“まだ”21点しか」と受け取らず「昨日より1点上がった」と認めるようにしているのです。
